001: Relax, and just enjoy the fact that life is good...

Welcoming Feast was excellent this year. Merlin, didn't even have to elbow an ickle first year out of the way for chicken! Although, I doubt they'd even come up to my elbow.

I should probably head to History of Magic soon but I can't be arsed to get out of this comfy chair... It's not like old (or should I say, dead?) Binns would notice anyone was missing, the way he blathers on.

...Does anyone else find it just a tad silly that we're carrying around journals? I mean, beyond looking slightly daft we all look so bloody secretive scribbling away. Especially some of the girls that try to do it in class. I suppose it's convenient. And my journal is awfully cute.
