Additionally, you can search across the Vault for FBI records. The Vault's recently upgraded search capabilities feature the following:

  • Quick summaries of long documents: Get easy-to-read overviews that summarize key points.
  • Updated Search: View new and updated records in search results.

FBI discretionary releases

In our commitment to government transparency, the FBI also releases records on a discretionary basis. These records were not produced subject to FOIA requests.
