OUR TEAM
UTMSPACE Services Sdn Bhd (USSB), established in 2012 and wholly owned by UTMSPACE UTM, is a corporate entity committed to broadening access to quality higher education across Malaysia.
In line with that vision, UTM Through USSB has risen to the challenge by
establishing a Private Higher Education Institution (IPTS) owned by the Public University (UA) known as Kolej SPACE. As an IPTS established by UTM, with the motto “Innovative Education, UTM Tradition”, the Kolej SPACE represents the ideals and aspirations of UTM.
Through its institution Kolej SPACE, USSB offers innovative, industry-relevant programmes that are aligned with UTM’s standards of academic excellence. In addition, the company champions lifelong learning through a range of professional education initiatives, including TVET programmes, Language Centre offerings, and strategic collaborations with international partners.
Our people are the cornerstone of our organisation and the driving force behind our continued success. Their dedication, professionalism, and expertise enable us to deliver excellence in every aspect of our operations while continuously advancing the company towards greater achievements.

Prof. Sr. Dr. Hishamuddin Mohd Ali has a PhD in Property Investment and Finance and is a member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM). He was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi Ismail is a leading expert in membrane technology. His research in water desalination and wastewater treatment has garnered international acclaim. He served as the first Director of AMTEC.
As Chairman of the Board of UTMSPACE Services, it is my privilege to reflect on the role we play in advancing the broader mission of lifelong learning and national capacity building.
UTMSPACE Services was established with a clear purpose to extend the reach of quality education beyond conventional boundaries and to respond meaningfully to the evolving needs of society and industry. In fulfilling this mandate, the Board remains committed to providing strong governance, strategic oversight, and clear direction to ensure that the organisation operates with integrity, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
We recognise that the landscape of education is undergoing profound transformation. Rapid technological advancement, shifting workforce demands, and the growing importance of continuous upskilling require institutions to be agile, responsive, and forward-thinking. UTMSPACE Services is well-positioned to meet these challenges by leveraging its institutional strengths, strategic partnerships, and commitment to innovation.
