  • @dr_, I've reverted your edit. There is no whereis builtin in zsh. There is a whereis command on BSDs or in util-linux, but that has nothing to do with whence -ca. See info zsh where for the documentation about zsh's where. Commented Oct 13, 2021 at 15:27
