  • I keep seeing this suggestion everywhere (e.g. developer.github.com/v3/guides/using-ssh-agent-forwarding/…) but have been unable to find anywhere describe how to make my server allow agent forwarding. I'm using Ubuntu and OpenSSH and can't find instructions anywhere. Commented Nov 4, 2019 at 17:22

    @Ryan open /etc/ssh/sshd_config on server and change AllowAgentForwarding to yes if it listed no. Then restart the ssh service. There is nothing more complicated in that. The logs are in /var/log/. Commented Nov 5, 2019 at 11:35
