This was useful. Thank you very much :) As signed often has worked with Unix->Solaris 10 the GNU utils are not integrated by default. This worked however.

Cool to note, starting in Python 3.13, random got a CLI mode so you can make it a bit shorter for the case of 1 to N: unix.stackexchange.com/a/794955/32558
