🏏 🌞 Beaming Sunshine and Sport Around the Globe Last week at Lord's Cricket ground, BFBS teams delivered nine hours of live coverage of the Inter Services T20 Cricket tournament—bringing the atmosphere of the ‘Home of Cricket’ to audiences worldwide. From pitch-side reporting to studio links and gallery production, this was a true team effort. Huge credit to our editorial, production, engineering, and digital colleagues who made it happen—along with expert commentary featuring Adam Gilchrist and our brilliant sports team. Behind the scenes, a bespoke technical setup enabled multi-location broadcasting, live streaming, and real-time updates. 🏎️ Beyond the boundary, our Esports colleagues were busy connecting with the next generation, where young attendees were queuing to take on the F1 simulator and engage with BFBS in new ways. 🎮 A fantastic day of sport, storytelling and community. Nick Beer, BFBS Director of Development and Strategy, spoke on the SASIG Events panel session at the National Cyber Security Show in Birmingham. The event focuses on cyber security education, which draws on Nick’s expertise and experiences managing the strategy for the future distribution of our services, development of new technologies to achieve these and all commercial development of our technologies. 🔒 Nick said: "We had a really constructive and interactive discussion with panel and audience input from both sides of the vendor/CISO challenge. I'm always delighted to be part of a SASIG event and to have the audience of the National Cyber Security Show join us was a real bonus especially as we got some challenge!
