Ongoing and future ground-based and balloon-borne CMB temperature and polarization experiments
Abstract
Although Planck will be the dominant CMB experiment of the next few years, ground and balloon-based experiments are increasing dramatically in both number and capability. Taking ad- vantage of the fact that the atmosphere is nearly unpolarized, suborbital experiments will achieve extremely low noise levels, test new technologies, measure polarized foregrounds with high pre- cision, and significantly advance high- and polarization science.
