Backend Developer

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design and implement microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot. This role involves working with event-driven architectures, cloud technologies, and containerized environments to deliver high-quality, scalable backend services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build RESTful APIs, integrate messaging systems, and deploy applications on AWS. The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of modern backend development practices. This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore, Pune, Trivandrum, or Chennai with standard shift timings (9 AM - 6 PM). Required • 6-10 years of relevant backend development experience • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework • Experience designing and implementing microservices architecture • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and backend services • Working knowledge of Kafka and AWS SQS for event-driven systems • Experience with MongoDB and database design • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) • Strong problem-solving and optimization skills • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment Nice to Have • Python programming skills for automation tasks • Understanding of networking concepts and Wi-Fi standards (Wi-Fi 5/6/7) • Familiarity with RDK-B and broadband gateway platforms • Experience with application performance optimization and scalability • Knowledge of emerging networking protocols and technologies • Experience working with cross-functional agile teams
