Agents on Cloudflare can now speak MCP — and act as both MCP client and MCP server. Batteries included — integrates with @stytchauth @WorkOS @auth0 or any other OAuth provider. And now you can deploy MCP servers on the free tier — backed by Durable Objects (w/hibernation!)

Years from now, we’ll look back on this week as the start of the decline of AWS/GCP/Azure being used directly by product companies. @Cloudflare going full-stack and @planetscaledata going GA are the inflection points.

We built a platform to run containers across Cloudflare’s network. It’s different. It’s schedules workloads globally — you don’t deal with regions. It fits with Anycast (of course). And we're integrating it with Workers and Durable Objects — use the right tool for the job, every

Once you see what can be done with Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects, there is no going back to the old ways of building things.

local dev is the wild west on most clouds on Cloudflare it's first-class but reality is you can't perfectly emulate behavior of globally distributed storage in local dev, or run most LLMs so we let you run code locally, and connect to remote resources (like D1, R2, KV, AI,

JavaScript-native RPC. - JS language standards only, no special protocols - define a public class method, call it from another Worker - each named export in your Worker can provide its own RPC interface - works with Durable Objects too @KentonVarda 🤯
We've added JavaScript-native RPC to Cloudflare Workers
