IKEA has decided to relaunch the iconic bookshelf from Niels Gammelgaard. It’ll be globally available in all IKEA’s starting in February 2025. I’m so stoked about this. Definitely will get one for my son’s room.

Yesterday, I decided to automate our gate door. We were using a clunky remote, but I didn't want to have it all the time. I first thought about replicating the RF remote, but it was using rolling codes. Afterward, I opened the gate motor and discovered it had several I/O ports.

I've pulled the trigger and upgraded my workplace 🖥️. Bought a standing desk with an integrated control unit. A new iMac Pro with VESA kit attached to a Ergotron HD monitor arm. And the plant 🌿 is from a small Coffee shop here in Ankara. Has always been a dream of mine 😊

Biraz önce evde kahve hazırladım ve çoçuklarla ailecek Çayyolu merkezi sayılacak bir parka gittik. Vardığımızda çete sürüsü şeklinde 7/8 tane köpek parkın bahçesinde yatmışlardı. Yarım saat geçmedi ki köpeklerden biri ayağa kalkıp havlamaya başladı, sonra hepsi birden çoçuklara

✨My new home office setup is finally here. I always wanted a single, large monitor 🖥 and decided it was time for a Pro Display XDR. I got the same chair I was using previously, the Herman Miller Aeron. Overall, I think this is the best setup I had so far, and I love it 😊

İsteklerde sorun yok ki, sen mülakata sokarsın, beğenmezsen "olmaz" dersin. Yoksa istekleri gayet yerinde. Sağlık sigortası, düzgün laptop, vs.. bunlar zaten olmalı. 15 bin de çok az demiş, keske 20-25 bin deseymiş. Insanlar istiyor ki herkes köle gibi, ucuz ve bedava çalışsın.

The best part was that because it was labeled as a "garage", it would be automatically integrated into CarPlay. And here is how I can open my gate door from within my car via CarPlay:

📢 I got some news: 1. I’m leaving @github soon. I had the privilege to work on great projects with amazing people. I’ll miss them. 2. With that, I’m also leaving the U.S 🇺🇸. Unfortunately, it didn’t worked out for us here. I’ll share in couple of weeks what’s next for me.
