Two separate websites with vicious threads about my recent grief sent my ad rates surging. In one day they covered the cost of my annual trip to Paris and then some.
My dog is laughing so hard right now somewhere in the unknown. She only ever bit an intruder and she bit hard.
I didn't see my psychiatrist for over 9 months during the worst depression of my life. My mother paid for an appt. He said to me, “I'd ask you how you’re feeling, except you don’t have to tell me. It’s all over your face. It has stolen your eyes.” Thank you for saving me, Mom.
This is the courage in life I aspire to. “This is a sincere inquiry” should be the title of the Netflix special made about all men saying, “But MY mom...” when having no clue the shit “MY mom” had to face down WITH HER BODY having no resources.
