When @Google was smaller, they stopped indexing my Stanford web site and locked me out of gmail for "operational errors." I recovered because I knew Googlers. Now I'm banned at the Google store and helpless. Scary how much power held by an unaccountable entity and its algorithms.
About 10 years after we started, our plan to encrypt all TCP traffic finally got its RFCs: tools.ietf.org/html/rfc8547tools.ietf.org/html/rfc8548. I wish Andrea Bittau were still with us, but am glad his work lives on.
