Just finished my first read for the year! Phew! Loved it! Loved how it ended! So beautiful! Loved how the author explored diverse themes and told the story from 4 distinct points of view: hers and the 3 main characters.

Flew first class internationally for the first time yesterday, and … Rules are for poor people mehn 😭. All that fasten your seatbelt and put your chair in an upright position does not apply. I was lying down when that flight landed.

At some point in your career, being liked and respected will equally be as important as how skilled you are. Do not, I repeat DO NOT turn down invitations to socialize with your peers and superiors. Happy hour? Be there. Chilling by the pool? Be there. The game is the game.

I applied to this MBA program 8 times. Got rejected 6 times, a partial funding once and a 1 year application ban. Guess who got in on the 8th application with full funding? Lol 🤭

The way I tackle the men at my tennis club? I love it for me. Was on my own and this 50+ man looked at me and said, “if not for this tennis you play, you would have been fatter than this”. I replied “what about you?”. Now everyone is silent and staring at me 🥹.

I was just saying “na so una Dey do for here??? Shuuuuu”. Air hostess came to introduce herself and greet me personally, like “welcome on board, my name is xyz” 😭😭😭. Gosh! I was just disgusted with my poverty 😭.

In class today, the professor asked “who are we?”. I shouted “we’re nothing but pencils in the hands of the creator”, and nobody got the joke 😭. The silence that followed was so awkward, I wished I could evaporate.
