fic etiquette is actually dead and it’s so sad… especially the x reader ones. like can people please just remember that authors take time out of their day to write these stories, complete requests, and such? receiving fanfics is a privilege. there are many fandoms i know of that rarely have any x reader fics, and yet there’s so many people being picky and complaining about the littlest things with fanfics. to be blunt, if you want to complain, then write your own story.

yes it’s good and it’s okay to give criticism BUT ONLY WHEN IT’S APPROPRIATE OR WHEN ASKED FOR!! writing isn’t easy, and lots of authors write for their own enjoyment. the last thing they want is someone nitpicking/demanding something they find joy in… more rant in tags sry :x
