autistic aphmau would miss every social cue ever tbh she's not socially inept but she would be the type to WHIP her head around if one of her friends said "omg don't look now but..."
My baby my darling pdh Aphmau!!!! She wants friends and acceptance and loves to make friends but is absolutely horrible at recognizing when she's being too open or making someone feel awkward. I can 100% see her being the type to copy her friends and accidentally get on their nerves without realizing it—or not fully understand when she's being socially inappropriate. For example I think of when she asked Kai if he says nya and her general obliviousness with how disrespectful some of her actions and words were about werewolf culture.
It is absolutely an autistic trait to have trouble understanding people different from you, and unintentionally coming across as rude or judgemental because of it, even if not intending any harm. Esp considering she carries that trait to adulthood too. Autistic Aphmau you are the realest of girls ever <3
Really quickly throwing in other examples off the top of my head of characters and their behaviors that I decree autistic behavior..
Katelyn being mean to her friends and not recognizing when she's actually upset someone until told directly
Nana when she was invited to Aphmau's sleepover and not picking up on any polite attempts to tell her it was an accident
Jenny and her super obvious crush on Aaron and missing his lack of interest
Logan in mcd is autistic to me too btw... And Donna. Heart heart heart
