I'm back with more art! Been very inspired lately for sure. Lately my primary inspiration has been Yoneyama Mai, and I've been learning some new coloring techniques that have been fun to play with.
I did this like a week ago, experimenting with a piece focusing on yellow, and a piece focusing on blue. I feel like it's REALLY elevated my art, so I've been going in even further!
I also recorded a speedpaint on my Clip Studio with the process for my butterfly piece above. I confess I absolutely used the 3d modeler to figure out the angle for the head, nothing I was trying worked! I also pulled in some photos of butterflies to get an idea of what I was going for, and then did the wings in particular from scratch. I hope my process is fun to watch!
I've been going through some emotional ups and downs lately, so my art is really turning back into my therapy. Expect a lot of peaceful pieces coming up soon, cuz I suspect that's where some of my art is gonna go.
Trying out doing more original pieces. I'd love to focus on original art instead of fanart all the time.
Also? I CANNOT get over how much I love the dust particle effect brush and the blur brushes I've been using. <3
Enjoy!
