I could have been normal about Papyrus if they had simply turned him into a town npc that you could casually talk to once or twice... What's making me insane is how they hide him, but at the same time tease his existence through oddly specific references that could actually mean nothing.

Honestly, yeah

I would NOT BE THIS PAPYRUS-BRAINED if he was just your regular background character since chapter 1 or 2

BUT THEY KEEP TEASING US WITH HIM

I keep getting more and more excited about WHY they hide him and WHY all these references to him exist

BUT IT COULD ALL MEAN NOTHING AND THAT THOUGHT SCARES ME

I genuinely have been thinking about compiling a list of every reference to Papyrus in deltarune but I gotta lock in and replay the whole thing.
