Shouldn't have even started
So tomorrow I start my summer job at the Animal Care Unit, should be interesting although not so interesting if it stays at 32 degrees the whole time!
Working does indeed suck but I need to save money for various things such as a laptop or a car...if I get my arse in gear and get some lessons!
The problem is that the government won't let Uni students sit on benefits in term time or even on holiday, tis fabulous isn't it. They also won't give me any money towards prescriptions as apparently the student loan counts as income - even if you don't take it out. I'm not even going to comment on student tuition fees this year and next year which I get no help for. Or travelling which seems to eat money. Because I live at home we also don't get any breaks for council tax.
So basically my dad works to pay for all these other people who can't be arsed (I do not include sick/disabled people) to earn money but does his daughter even get the odd £6 prescription paid for...no. And it stinks. My dad has to go abroad for large amounts of time and is stressed and tired...but he keeps working and he keeps paying. So that isn't right - my dad works himself into the ground while all these work shy people sit there and watch tv on his money. Then I start working and start paying for all these lazy arses as well.
The future is truly bright.
