I am absolutely NOT sure if I did post this on tumblr, but, yes, here, an art of "A Burning Star and a Muse" -> my fanfic :D , the lupin trio is so back (I haven't posted a single chapter nor a single fanfic in my docs. Fanfic preview below!)
PREVIEW (Dazais POV) _________
Grunting, "damnit. I can't think of a thing."
What bad timing for a dang creative block to enter my mind, I tell myself.
Groaning in frustration, I dropped my pen back down on the table and leaned back my chair. Letting my head loll back farther with my glasses tipping slightly off my nose.
Then the cafe's door chimes ring open as done so—my eyes instinctively drifting towards the source of the sound—and I find myself unable to breathe as I gazed upon this beauty of a man walk in that I never thought to exist—it looks as though he is but an angel fallen from the heavens above to bless the eyes of humanity. .
I watched as he walked towards the counter, talking to another—certain—redhead across him.
One that I am familiar with—ordering his drink through him. And there’s something that I don't deserve beats hard against my chest—as if it was running the stars that had already fallen across the sky.
I never realized how long I had been staring until I met with the eyes that I am quite certain I'm willing to drown in so deeply as if I'm looking right at the depths of the ocean mixed with every dancing sky and caramel at hand.
That was the moment I knew eyes like these could ever feel like its a fire looking through my soul, swimming along the warm sun-lit currents—and I bolted straight up my seat, feeling my cheeks flush pink with my eyes blown wide awake.
Well, that sure woke my brain up? I guess?
My hand snatches the drink left idle on my table, bringing the straw up close to my lips and drinking away—trying to think of a distraction or—at least something to do other than whatever this is.
What's happening to me? I can't tell. But my heart races and I feel restless.
And I could seriously feel his gaze on me.
But neither do I know how, nor do I know why, but is this what people described in books as a flutter in their hearts?
A "he fell first, but he fell harder" trope. The story of two men, with opposite statuses, are in love—one ostracized by society and the other cherished.
"Funny how a star that shines the brightest dies the quickest of them all."
