About our Annual Conference 2026

The Frontline Network launched ten years ago as UK-wide support network for frontline staff, to amplify their voices and highlight best practice in the sector.

In that time we've set up our Training Programme, each year offering free or funded trainings to frontline teams across the UK; launched our Annual Conference bringing together practitioners and experts from all four nations to share challenges and solutions; introduced our annual Frontline Worker Survey to capture the voice and experience of frontline workers supporting people who experience homelessness; set up our local networks covering a range of themes and locations to bring together frontline workers across the UK.

In our ten years, the sector, as well as the UK, has faced multiple challenges and difficulties, from austerity, rising housing costs, welfare reform, COVID and increasing demand for crisis support.

Yet throughout these challenges, we have also witnessed the extraordinary passion, resilience, and determination of frontline workers. We have seen innovation and new ideas emerge to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness, the unwavering care and commitment of teams working in difficult circumstances, and the strength of communities coming together to support one another and drive positive change.

The Frontline Network Annual Conference 2026 aims to reflect all of these experiences — recognising and understanding the challenges facing the homelessness sector, whilst also giving voice to the inspiring work, dedication, and compassion demonstrated by frontline workers every day. The conference will provide an opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and celebrate the impact of frontline services across the UK.
