So, it's November sixth. I should be getting 10k by the end of the day. That's not bad, I hear you cry.
I'm at 5k now.
Yes, I am 5k behind. I have never been this far behind (but then, I've never really been this mildly apathetic towards my novel before) and it's sorta worrying me. If I want to catch up I either write 5-6k today (well, I want to get over the whole, 'Argh, I'm so far behind!' thing) or I write almost 1800 words every day between now and November 30th.
Epic writing of catching up starts as soon as I have brekkie.
