Iceland is using the earth's geothermal energy to collect hydrogen, create electricity, and heat their water. It almost seems like Final Fantasy VII, sapping the planet's energy. Once the magma cools enough, our magnetic fields will be disrupted and eventually disappear, allowing space to bombard us with radiationy goodness.
