Thanks! Dedications! Acknowledgments!
I'm just sitting here waiting for the inevitable mock-acknowledgements to start surfacing...
Thanks to Tham, for being such a big bitch that I actually wanted to kill her today. To her, and her stupid ego and insane defense of an indefensible thing, I dedicate not my story, but the lint that collected in my belly button while I wrote it.
*g*
One day, I'll learn to channel my energy into good things, like founding leper colonies and loving all of humanity. I do try to be good and angst-free, and to love all aspects of fandom and everyone in it. But, dammit, it's hard!
I can try to be positive all the time, and use my LJ only to praise people and give them tongue-baths like some crazed German shepherd. I think about that sometimes. Not the licking part, but the positive part, to be loving and nurturing and good. I don't do it very well, I'm afraid.
But, in the spirit of the community I really didn't mean to attack--I was just thinking about me, because I'm kind of like the sun in a Copernican universe--I will say thanks to everyone who showed me the other side of the argument. I do appreciate that people are willing to explain their point of view, to share that here. It reminds me that fandom isn't entirely full of mindless little cretins who can't spell and who write dumbass stories that...
*coughs*
Right. Anyway, thanks here means just what you mean when you use it: because you want to give credit where credit is due.
