RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Development is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the city’s land development regulation and review process. The Community Development director oversees the Planning and Development Division. 

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Business district redevelopment planning
• Comprehensive plan changes
• Site plan review
• Variances
• Zoning reclassification
