Last-minute panic
I'm still trying to figure out how in hell to do this, and I should've posted a week ago or better:
I'm wishing to go to Anime Expo next weekend (July 1-4 in Anaheim, CA), but to do so safely I need at least one other person to come along. See, I'm too broke to fly, and I don't relish tackling a 16-hour drive by myself. So I'm looking for someone to come with me, preferably someone who's enough of an anime fan that they wouldn't be utterly bored by a couple days of immersion in the industry (or alternately someone who'd wants to spend the weekend across the street at Disneyland -- but be aware that I'm going for the con, so you'll probably be alone).
If it sounds like fun, and you think you can take the road trip on this short of notice, let me know - there are two guests there that make this worth breaking all kinds of personal rules for me (namely KOTOKO and Sakamoto Maaya), so I'm dying for the chance.
And yes, before you say it, I am batshit insane.
