Jim Ward — sometimes credited as James Ward — was the visual effects designer on various Doctor Who television stories. He was also the uncredited effects supervisor on An Unearthly Child (INFO: An Unearthly Child) and was one of the uncredited visual effects personnel on The Tenth Planet. (INFO: The Tenth Planet) He was also an uncredited visual effects assistant on The Claws of Axos. (INFO: The Claws of Axos)
His only other credits were Dead of Night and Dad's Army.
