Dead Brown Bunny Drabble
So I just read 
sean_montgomery's drabble for htbthomas's little drabble challenge and it was so cute. I wasn't going to do it, but it only took a few minutes, so I thought why not?! Thank you to Marcy from the Twilight Fandom for the beta.

Kal the Bunny
“Honey? Did you feed the bunny today?”
“Umm…no....I forgot. I just cleaned the cage and put some fresh paper down. Could you go feed him?”
“Fine.” I grumbled, trudging up the steps to the sitting room where we kept Kal, the new addition to our little family, a cute furry brown bunny that my daughter loved.
I turned the corner and there in the cage lay Kal, on his side, eyes closed. I rushed to the cage and looked down at the dead brown bunny. That’s when I saw it.
“Honey!!! You used my Superman Returns Official Movie Guide to line the cage? What the heck?!” I yelled down the stairs.
‘Now what happened to our little Kal?’ I mused.
I pushed the dead brown bunny aside and examined Brandon Routh’s primary clad body. In every image the cute little red briefs that my favorite man in tights wore were chewed away.
“He died of spandex poisoning?” I wondered aloud.
"Oh Kal...if you didn't like your name why didn't you say so?" I brushed the dead bunny's soft fur. Then thought to myself, 'You needed Kryptonite, but instead you went below the belt. Balls of steel I tell you, balls of steel..." I shook my head at Kal's attempt to harm his namesake.
“Honey, Kal is dead.” I yelled down the stairs again. ‘Who doesn’t love Superman? Hmpf. Maybe not everything Superman is a good idea,’ I thought to myself.
I headed down the steps, “Maybe we should name the next bunny Peter?”
