To connect Gem Scheduling and CoderPad, you’ll need your API Key from within CoderPad.
CoderPad requirements
To enable and use the integration, you must have an Enterprise plan with CoderPad. This gets you access to view your API Key on the Settings page.
If you’re not on the Enterprise plan, you may need to speak with a CoderPad representative to obtain your API key.
Once the integration has been enabled, Gem team members with any CoderPad license can utilize the integration within Gem ATS.
Getting the API Key
After you’ve met these requirements, go into CoderPad and get your API Key. To do that, you can follow the instructions in CoderPad’s API key access article if you’re on the Enterprise plan, or otherwise ask your CoderPad account representative.
Note: This API key is different from the one used to connect to Gem ATS. Please make sure you are copying the correct API key.
Connect CoderPad to Gem Scheduling
After you’ve retrieved the API Key, follow these steps to connect CoderPad to Gem Scheduling:
- Go to the Integrations tab on your Scheduling admin page.
- Under the ATS integrations section, select View CoderPad settings.
- Paste your API key into the CoderPad Screen API key field.
- Select the Save & close button to save your changes. Gem will validate that the API key is correct.
This enables the integration and lets you generate a CoderPad Interview URL in an interview template.
