Welcome new friends!
Finally got caught up with everyone's journals. Sorry it took so long, but things have been hectic. And I apologize if I missed anyone while getting caught up. If I did not comment on your journal it was probably because you have not updated in a while or a long time or I did miss you and did not realize it. If I did unfortunately miss you, please let me know. But I think I got caught up with everyone.
Game night went fantastic. We didn't have the usual crowd, but it was still good none the less. We ended up playing two different types of UNO since we had a kid there with us this time. I think I like the Robotic UNO a lot, but the one that spits the cards out is cool to. By the middle of the second game we ended up having a ice fight between Kathy, Cory, Kathy's grandaughter Jasmine and me. Which was fun, we took turns putting ice down each other's backs for some reason. But that happens on occasion. By the end of the night though ended up getting a headache fro all the laughing again. I forgot to bring some headache medicine, but I will remember next time. Game night was exaclty what I needed, put me in a good mood. Good enough mood to tolerate the people I don't care for living or coming over here the next day. I highly recommended starting a game night with friends or family or both, or going to one if invited to one. Helps relieve stress so much and puts you in a better mood. :)
Things have settled down some what, still getting used to having 7 people in the house, one of which is a newborn. Got some new pictures of baby Veronica. On the plus side of things Savannah's aunt made her a Frozen Elsa costume so I don't have to go out and buy one and should be coming in the mail soon. On the down side for Savannah her party was cancelled, she has not been behaving well lately from what I understand. But she will still be getting presents, just not the birthday party she wanted. Thinking we will probably get her a Frozen Elsa doll or something Elsa. Laticia (her mom) had me and Mary order her a Frozen backpack. Seriously really starting to hate that movie even more now.
Still have not uopdated about my Star Trek club anniversary party, will do so sometime this week with some pictures. Our club decide that we will be going to see Robin Williams newest movie in honor of him when it comes out, and we still have the meteor shower camping trip coming up that Julia and I are collaborating on and putting together for both our chapter/ship clubs which we have decided will be in December. S yeah lots been going on. Been getting back into watching Charmed again, still hate Coop though. Miss Cole so much! So I think I might be making a layout of Charmed, especially since I found a good animated Charmed mood theme. :)
Well since I can't find any good Jedi costumes that don't look like crap, and especially since I don't want to pay over $100 or more for a tunic. And since the Jedi costumes in stores are crappy looking. I am leaning towards this for Halloween next month:
Has anyone worn this costume before? It looks pretty cool, but still unsure of it yet. If I get it I am thinking of getting either a blood make-up kit or zombie make-up kit and having a bit of fun with it.
