The Yadeez was a bulk freighter utilized as a carrier by the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing and commanded by Colonel Soran Keize. It was named for[1] Fara Yadeez, Acting Governor of the planet Troithe, who had previously assisted the 204th before being taken into New Republic custody.[2]
Following the 204th's escape from Troithe, Keize used the Yadeez as a command ship for the 204th's continued Operation: Cinder against factions that had broken away from the Empire. The 204th used the Yadeez through the Battle of Jakku.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Yadeez first appeared in the novel Shadow Fall, written by Alexander Freed and published in 2020.[2] It was named in the novel's 2021 sequel, Victory's Price, also written by Freed.[1]
