"The Modifier"[4] was a human male cyborg who worked in the Mos Eisley Mod Parlor on Tatooine during the New Republic Era.[2] An artisan with cybernetic augmentation, the skilled craftsman engineered customized additions and improvements for anyone with money,[4] and the parlor was visited by members of the Mods gang who came to upgrade or replace their cybernetic components.[5]
When ex-bounty hunter Boba Fett carried the unconscious Master Assassin Fennec Shand into the Mod Parlor, the Modifier agreed to his request to save her life by adding cybernetics parts to her body, taking Fett's credits as payment to modify Shand's abdomen.[2] He later came to Boba Fett's Palace to attend to a wounded Cobb Vanth in Fett's bacta tank.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Modifier first appeared in "Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm," the fourth episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, which was directed by Kevin Tancharoen[2] and released on January 19 2022.[6] He was played by Stephen Bruner, aka Thundercat.[2]
