An RJ unit,[2] also known as an RJ series,[3] was a series of droid used during the High Republic Era. RJ-83 was a member of this series.[1] RJ-21 was an old RJ series droid that lived with the Tallimarian scavenger Velorie Sarcon on Jakku at the time of the First Order-Resistance War.[3]
Behind the scenes
This droid unit first appeared in the first episode short "Meet the Young Jedi" from the Disney Junior animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,[4] released on March 27, 2023.[5]. Its unit class was identified as a RJ Unit in the season one episode "Kai's Bad Day".[2]
