Plot summary
Rikarda is transporting the gambler Lando Calrissian to the planet Klonoid aboard her ship, the Stellar Sun, where he would retrieve droid parts. En route to Klonoid, however, Calrissian learns from his droid W1-LE that his precious puffer pig had been stolen by the Varluk Organization and taken to the planet Zyzar. Although it meant a significant detour, Rikarda agreed to take her passenger there after he promised to make it worth her while.
Calrissian sets about a recovery mission, attempting to infiltrate the Varluk Organization headquarters, but is spotted by two guards. Calrissian surprises them, taking them both out and enters the facility. Searching the facility, he comes across his puffer pig in a cage and goes to comfort it where he is caught by a second pair of guards.
He and the puffer pig are taken before the head of the Varluk Organization, Ango Croom, who confronts Calrissian about the credits he owes the Organization. He informs Calrissian that he has taken the puffer pig as compensation. Calrissian promises to pay the debt, but Croom informs him that the organization is running out of materials and needs the puffer pig to find a new source. With Calrissian unable to pay immediately, Croom orders him to leave the planet, but Calrissian lunges at the puffer pig, with the act making the puffer pig expand, knocking the guards over and dropping their weapons. Calrissian grabs the fallen blaster and shoots the guards. He then pushes the puffer pig out the door while Croom orders the rest of his guard to intercept them.
As Calrissian makes his way through the base, he launches the puffer pig at guards, knocking them down. At the enclosure where he found the puffer pig initially, Calrissian launches a device through the window and then makes for the outside. As he exits the facility, the Stellar Sun and Rikarda picked him and his pig up, helping them escape a firefight.
Back on Zyzar, Croom discovers the device that Calrissian left behind. He activates the device which shows a map of new minerals that the Organization can mine for year. Croom considers Calrissian's debt paid.
