The Promise was a frigate in the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Fleet. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the frigate was in hiding in the Sujimis sector near the planet Orto Plutonia. Luke Skywalker met Nakari Kelen for the first time on board the frigate, while he was there to collect the Desert Jewel for his mission to the planet Rodia.[1]
