Plapper was a dewback on the planet Tatooine[1] in 3 ABY.[2] According to his owner, he was a rescue, and would lick strangers as a sign of aggression.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] Kay Vess asked Plapper and Turgus's owner, a farmer, to move their dewbacks because they were blocking her way and her pet merqaal Nix was afraid of them. The farmer complied, and Vess and Nix passed through.[1]

Behind the scenes
Plapper first appeared in the video game Star Wars Outlaws by Ubisoft in August 2024 in an optional quest to steal weapons from the Hutt Clan for the Ashiga Clan.[1]
