Minfar was a backwater jungle planet in a distant region of space[2] in the Inner Rim Territories in grid square I-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
History
In 34 ABY,[3] a First Order battalion made its way to Minfar to find the Echo Horn, a device capable of controlling the minds of other beings. In response, the inhabitants of the planet sent out a distress call, which was picked up by Resistance members Rey, Poe Dameron, BB-8, and Rose Tico, who responded to it. Branwayne Spiftz of the First Order did not find there to be anything remarkable or strategic about Minfar and was surprised to encounter the Resistance on his search for the Echo Horn on the planet. The Resistance agents managed to destroy the Echo Horn while Spiftz was killed aboard the Ladara Vex.[2]
