The Mandian was a picket frigate in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. Its commander was Captain Dondo Foth and its executive officer was Lieutenant Commander Vitwroth. Its crew included a protocol droid called "Yeoman Scrapheap" and it had a storage compartment termed the "Lucky Bag." It participated in the Battle of Praesitlyn, and was assigned to monitor the system for incoming craft. When a fleet of Separatist reinforcements arrived, Foth notified the Republic fleet of their presence before ordering the Mandian to retreat.
