Loth-rats were creatures that lived among the grasslands of the Outer Rim Territories planet Lothal. They served as prey for Loth-cats.[2] On the planet, the term was also often used as an insult.[4] The species made its home in the grass of Lothal's grasslands.[3]
Minced Loth-rat pie was popular among the local citizens.[5]
