A kill marking was a symbol applied to the side of a starfighter to denote a victory against an enemy in space combat. At the time of the Battle of Coruscant, Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Interceptor featured three-legged kill markings denoting squadrons of droid tri-fighters.[1]
