Hoopaloo were a sentient species covered head to toe in ruffled feathers,[1] which could be brown with blue highlights. They had a sharply hooked beak, and their feet had three toes forward and one back. One known Hoopaloo was the information broker Graysom,[2] while another, Skreech, worked for the criminal Rekias Nodo.[1]
The Hoopaloo professor Re-Bec Arclarka taught at the Lerct Historical Institute during the days of the New Republic, where he mentored the human Beaumont Kin. He was generally respected at Lerct, though at least one individual, Mico Haswell, felt personally offended that a Hoopaloo had been granted the position of professor, considering Arclarka's hiring to be an attempt of the administration to meet a quota.[3]
