Grott[2] was a Pyke Baron who led a splinter faction of the criminal Pyke Syndicate to establish the Varl Tournament, a podracing tournament in the Varl system. The tournament was in fact a cover for Grott to breed a force of[1] Kayfoundo Kapa[2] to use against his enemies. The plot was foiled by the Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker and Grott was arrested by the Galactic Republic.[1]
