The Eleventh Division was a naval division of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It was created following the Alliance's defeat at the Battle of Hoth and eventually became grounded on Ab Dalis and under siege by the Galactic Empire's forces. The division's Ground Defense Command defended the starships from Imperial ground forces, and were being overwhelmed. The Starlight Squadron from the Fourth and Seventh Divisions eventually arrived and destroyed the ISD Ultima II, although at the destruction of Ground Defense Command. Chancellor Mon Mothma and Admiral Gial Ackbar led the division.[1]
