Electro-sifters were devices similar to moisture vaporators, used on the desert planet Pasaana by the native Aki-Aki. An electro-sifter would catch seeds blown by the planet's winds, allowing the Aki-Aki to use dustgrain farming to grow them. Electro-sifters also contained moisture vaporator technology, and a grid of the devices could irrigate arid desert landscape.[1]
