The control module was a device which the Imperial Grand Moff Lozen Tolruck used to program and control the inhibitor chips inside all of the Wookiee slaves on the planet Kashyyyk. The device was a console that Tolruck kept at his island fortress. Tolruck's control module was of the transmitting variety and was totally wireless.[1]
History
In 3 ABY, [2] the human thief used a control module to remotely control her S-57 Cardinal speeder bike.[3]
In 5 ABY,[4] the former Imperial loyalty officer–turned–New Republic operative Sinjir Rath Velus used a hyperwave transceiver spike to hack into his control module and disable the inhibitor chips. This led to a mass Wookiee uprising that ended Imperial rule on Kashyyyk.[1]
