Clink was an LE-series droid owned by a Gran trader on Pantora. Along with the astromech droids 225 and DK-3, Clink was supervised by the protocol droid CG-67.^[1] The small droid did not suffer fools.^[2]

Shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, Echo—having encountered Clink and the other droids after being sold to a trader by his comrade Hunter after the trader believed a disguised Echo was a droid himself—removed the droids' restraining bolts, tasking them with the repair of their starship, Marauder. Though Clink attempted to take charge, CG-67 asserted her authority. When the Marauder was repaired, Echo thanked Clink and the other droids, returning them to CG-67's care.^[1]
