The Boss Meetup was the name given to the gathering of Gungans at their Sacred Place following attacks on Gungan cities by the Trade Federation during the Invasion of Naboo. The Gungans planned to organize their counterattacks against the Trade Federation, but their meeting was interupted by the arrival of the Human Naboo. Queen Padmé Amidala shed her handmaiden disguise in a plea for an alliance between the two species, which impressed Nass and led to the two groups uniting for the Battle of Naboo.[2]
