Brigadier General Jack O'Neill flies the Jumper through the Stargate to Earth, as he has the Ancient Technology Activation gene needed to interface with Ancient technology. (SG1: "It's Good to Be King")

Battle of Dakara: The Replicators are wiped out by the Dakara superweapon. The Jaffa Rebellion ends the reign of the System Lords. The Goa'uld Empire collapses. The Free Jaffa Nation is formed. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 2")

Major General Henry Landry becomes the new head of Stargate Command. (SG1: "Avalon, Part 1")

SG-1 disbands but is later reunited under the leadership of Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell, the team's new leader.

Major John Sheppard is promoted to Lt. Colonel and placed in charge of Atlantis's military forces, after serving in that role since the death of Colonel Marshall Sumner. (SGA: "The Intruder")
