[[ No cliche this time. We just thought we'd make a prompt of a normal day on the Enterprise and see where that goes :3 ]]

When McCoy thought about it, it really wasn't fair to blame Jim for all the wrong in his life that had occurred ever since the insufferable bastard had become captain. Jim hadn't caused Ensign Jackson to drop the tray of rare vaccines, shattering the vials across the floor of medical. Jim also hadn't forced Nurse Chapel, his best nurse by far, to slip on the goddamn liquids and break her goddamn hand.

Yet, here he was, scowling at his pisspour cup of coffee in the middle of the mess, mumbling "Damn it, Jim" in a mantra, because somehow, somewhere, Jim Kirk was entirely at fault.
