    Generating index files for each path had crossed my mind as well but it would be difficult to have dynamic paths like example.com/groups/5/show. If you see my answer to this question I believe that solves the problem for the most part. It's a bit of a hack but at least it works. Commented Jun 1, 2013 at 21:04
  • Better to deploy behind an nginx server and return index.html for all incoming urls. I have done this successfully with heroku deployment of ember apps. Commented Feb 12, 2016 at 3:26
